Real Estate Myths

How do I buy a home in Phoenix with little money down?

I hear these misconceptions all the time from buyers. The truth is, homeownership is more accessible than most people realize. Let me show you what is possible.

Learn About First-Time Buying

"I need 20% down to buy a home"

Not true. You can buy a home with as little as $1,500 or less out of pocket.

"My credit score is too low"

Clients with lower credit scores can still buy a home. I connect you with the right lenders to find solutions.

"I filed for bankruptcy before"

A previous bankruptcy does not disqualify you. There are programs and timelines that can help you become a homeowner again.

"Closing costs are too expensive"

Most of the time, costs are much lower than what clients initially think. I also help negotiate seller concessions to reduce your out-of-pocket expenses.

About Susan

From a home buyer searching for a realtor to becoming one myself.

I relocated to Arizona from Chicago, and finding a realtor to help me was not easy. After gathering information on many homes, the agent I finally connected with suggested I would be a great realtor myself since I was practically doing all the work.

I took her suggestion, enrolled in real estate school, and passed the exam on the first try. Now, 24 years later, I still have a true passion for helping my clients have the best experience every time.

"I want to be my clients' Realtor for Life — before, during, and after their home purchase or sale."
