Oktoberfest Season Is Here

• Four Peaks Brewing Oktoberfest at Tempe Town Lake Beach Park runs October 9 through 11 and celebrates its 53rd year with German food, beer gardens, and wiener-dog races. Admission is free.
• Haus Murphy’s Oktoberfest in Glendale (5739 W. Glendale Ave.) runs three weekends, October 10 through 11, 17 through 18, and 24 through 25, with German food, oompah bands, and contests.
• Downtown Chandler Rocktoberfest at SanTan Gardens (495 E. Warner Ave.) takes over October 2 through 4 with live music, wiener-dog races, and stein-holding contests.
• Oktoberfest at Saddle Mountain Brewing Co. in Goodyear runs September 26 and 27, and Fountain Hills Oktoberfest runs October 2 and 3.

Dia de los Muertos Celebrations

This season honors heritage and community beautifully across the Valley:

• The Mesa Arts Center Día de los Muertos Festival in Downtown Mesa takes over Saturday, October 24, starting at noon, with live music and cultural celebration. It is free to attend.

Concerts Worth the Ticket

The concert calendar is full of big nights this fall:

• Salt-N-Pepa and TLC with En Vogue play Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre in Phoenix on October 7.
• Staind with Seether, Hoobastank, and Hinder hit the same outdoor stage on October 13, and Logic and G-Eazy with Juicy J follow on October 15.
• Kacey Musgraves performs at Footprint Center in Phoenix on October 17.
• The Arizona State Fair (October 1 through November 1) hosts its Coliseum concert series with Gin Blossoms on October 2 and All Time Low on October 10.
